West Hartford, CT – ORLive, the leading provider of video communication solutions to the healthcare market, is excited to announce the introduction of end user administrative functionality to the ORLive video platform. In addition to features managing the user’s video library, and how they appear on ORLive.com, the new admin function includes user generated content features. “This release is a significant step forward in providing our clients with the tools they need to manage their on-line video presence directly,” said Peter Gailey, President and Co-Founder of ORLive, “by giving our clients the option to add their existing library of video content, we’ve enabled a video content management system that allows them to manage video on their own websites, ORLive.com, and other syndication points including YouTube, Facebook, and Twitter.”

This release also opens up the ORLive video platform to clients looking for video hosting and streaming solutions for their existing content, but not necessarily a presence on ORLive.com. It enables users to upload content and syndicate the video to any website that requires (or accepts) video. Gailey explained this new opportunity by restating ORLive’s commitment to their clients, “ORLive provides a video platform that is precisely designed for the healthcare market, giving them video tools without the brand pollution that comes with other video platforms. We are committed to providing the best video resources to help put our client’s video to work for them; we’ll keep improving our offerings as our clients needs continue to evolve.”

ORLive is the leading provider of video communication channels to the healthcare community. Working collaboratively with hospitals and device manufacturers, ORLive produces and distributes customized, interactive, video programs that demonstrate the latest surgical techniques and product innovations. The ORLive broadcasting network provides an intimate look at over 650 live and on-demand surgeries to a global audience, streaming over 50,000 hours of programming each month.
